They all are functionally appointed and are fitted with everything needed for an enjoyable and comfortable stay.

The hosts of Villa Mechkarev also offer a tavern in traditional style with indoors seating and a cosy hall with a fully equipped kitchen, furnace and barbecue. The place is perfect for family holidays and gatherings with friends for various occasions. Upon prior notice the hosts may offer breakfast, lunch, dinner or roasted lamb. For an additional fee they may also provide transport with a 6-seat 4x4 vehicle to peak Botev, the Kamenlivitsa locality and other places.

The home-town of Hristo Botev has preserved original houses and churches from the Bulgarian Revival period. The birth-home of the poet and revolutionary is fully restored and functioning as a museum. To his honour the people of Kalofer have made an impressive memorial. In the vicinity of the town are located two monasteries the men's monastery of Birth of Theotokos and the girls' monastery of Entrance of Theotokos. Kalofer is also the main starting point for trekking in National Park Central Balkan. The most famous eco trail in the area is the Byalata Reka trail. Within 3-4 km from the town in the mountain are situated localities, which serve as home bases for visiting peak Botev and the highest waterfall on the Balkan Peninsula - the Raisko Praskalo.
