Guest House Valevitsata sitll preserves the authentic Bansko spirit from the Revival era, continuing Bulgarian values and traditions in hospitality. Here every guest will discover cosiness and peacefulness coupled with various amenities and traditional Bansko cuisine as a predisposition for a memorable holiday in the mountain at any time of the year. The complex is located within minutes on foot from both the first station of the Gondola lift and the attractions in the historic center, therefore it is equally preferred for vacations in any season.

Guest House Valevitsata is a picturesque complex of two houses, located next to each other with a spacious, lush in greenery garden. The first house dated back to the 19th century and is an authentic Bansko Revival house with more than 130 years of history. In 1967 it is listed as a monument of culture. The house offers eight double rooms and one apartment, all decorated in the traditional Bansko style with wooden paneling on the ceiling, fleecy rugs, natural wood furniture, etc.

The second house is built in 2005 and offers 10 double rooms and 2 apartments designed with elements from the old traditional and classic style. All rooms and apartments are provided with the necessary modern day amenities, which guarantee comfortable and enjoyable sojourn. In addition, every house has a special room, where guests may keep their ski equipment.

On the ground floor of the ancient house is located the famous Valevitsata tavern. The whole complex and tavern in particular are named after the traditional 'valyavitsa', which is exhibited in the tavern. This is an equipment used from the 15th to the 19th century for washing clothes by using highly pressurized water running into a cone-like vessel, where the clothes are. The high level of oxygen in the water ensured excellent washing.

At present, the Valevitsata tavern features 100 seats indoors and 50 seats in the spacious and beautiful summer garden. Its rich menu includes traditional Bansko specialties and classic dishes from the Bulgarian cuisine served in authentic atmosphere together with quality Bulgarian wines and grape brandies. The hosts will readily organize folklore evenings with original folk music and live performances, which will immerse every visitor in the authentic ambiance of old Bansko.

Last but not least, the second (modern) house, which is built in 2005 also provides a small wellness center with a sauna, steam bath, jacuzzi, massage studio and relax room.

Guest House Valevitsata offers accommodation in a total of 18 double rooms. Eight of them are located in the 19th century house and are furnished in the traditional Bansko style. In each may be placed an additional bed. The other ten rooms are located in the 2005 house. They boast a more classic interior design and in two of them may be placed an additional bed. The rooms are furnished with one double or two single beds and feature the following amenities: refrigerator, TV set, en-suite bathroom with shower and hairdryer, heating. Some have a balcony with lovely views of Mount Pirin.

Those guests who are looking for more space and comfort may choose one of the three apartments available at Guest House Valevitsata in Bansko. One is set in the ancient house and the other two are in the 2005 house. Each has a comfortable bedroom and a cosy seating area with a set of sofas. Their facilities include refrigerator, TV set, en-suite bathroom with shower and hairdryer, heating. Some have a balcony with beautiful views of the mountain.

The guests of House Valevitsata may visit on foot all attractions of the historic center in Bansko as the complex is set only 15 minutes from there. Some of the most noteworthy historic places in the town are the Radonova House (Ethnographic Museum), the Paisiy Hilendarski Center, the House-Museum of Neofit Rilski, the Holy Trinity Church, the Velyanova house-museum, the Sirleshtova house, the Permanent icons exhibition, the Nikola Vaptsarov house-museum, etc. Fans of skiing and winter sports are truly privileged as the Valevitsata House is only 8 minutes on foot from the Gondola ski lift. The system of ski lifts and rope lines connects the ski centers of Bansko which share 11 ski runs and 4 ski roads with a total of length of 60 km. In the warm months these are main starting points for trekking in Mount Pirin and acquainting with raw beauty.
