Asparuhovo is a village in the Municipality of Varna situated on the banks of the Tsonevo Dam. The dam (it's old name is Georgi Traykov) is the third largest dam in Bulgaria and one of the most famous and attractive spots for fishing. From it may caught almost all kinds of freshwater fish - carp, sheat-fish, perch, etc. The dam is exceptionally picturesque and attracts photographers and great outdoors enthusiasts. In its southern area on the banks of the am is located the natural phenomena Chudnite Skali. The Tsonevo Dam is also suitable for sun bathing, boat rows, water sports.
