The conference hall has a capacity of 40 seats.

Every twin room of Hotel Contessa may comfortably sleep up to three guests. The room has enough space for an additional bed and is furnished with two single beds, which may be joined to form one double bed. In every double room are also provided an armchair, a coffee table, a TV set with cable television, air conditioner, heating, telephone, internet connection, mini bar, private bathroom with a bathtub or a shower cabin, hairdryer.

The deluxe double rooms are quite spacious and boast a pleasant sitting corner with sofas and a coffee table, as well as two single beds which may form one double bed. In that type of rooms there is enough space to place two additional beds and they are exceptionally suitable for families with children. The facilities in the deluxe double rooms include TV set with cable television, telephone, internet connection, mini bar, air conditioner, heating, hairdryer, private bathroom with a shower and a hydro-massage bathtub.

Hotel Contessa offers one cozy deluxe suite, which consists of a bedroom and a separate living room with a work desk, sitting corner with sofas and a coffee table, a kitchenette. The suite boasts a large bathroom with a hydro-massage bathtub and shower, hairdryer, TV set with cable television, internet connection, telephone, mini bar, air conditioner, heating.

Besides a comfortable place to stop and rest on one's way to Varna, Shumen is an interesting town with rich history, which serves as a perfect starting point for acquainting with the numerous famous historic landmarks in the region. Shumen is part of the list with 100 National Tourist Places. The Shumen Fortress and the monument Creators of the Bulgarian State are a must-see sight. There are locate also the house-museums of Panayot Volov, Layosh Koshut, Dobri Voynikov, Pancho Vladigerov. Close to Shumen are situated the ancient Bulgarian capitals Pliska and Preslav. At 15 km from the town on the Shumen Plateau is where the Madar Horseman is carved.

Hotel Contessa is centrally located in Shumen, close to the railway station, the main bus station and the central town park. The place is convenient, with good transport connection, set on a quiet and tranquil street, which is an intersection of one of the big boulevards on the way to Veliki Preslav. Shumen is situated in North-East Bulgaria.
