Villa on the Top

Villa on the Top is a beautiful two-storey house in the picturesque village of Orehovo in the Rhodope mountain range, 40 km from Pamporovo and 60 km from Plovdiv. The house in the highest area of the village and from its beautiful garden are revealed stunning views of the mountain. The villa is a convenient home base for hiking, trekking and visiting the local attractions. Here every guest will enjoy warm-hearted hospitality, home-like cosiness, delicious home-cooked Rhodopean dishes and amazingly beautiful nature.

On the first floor of the house are situated an entirely furnished living room with a fireplace and a TV set, dining room with a completely equipped kitchen. Besides that guests may have fun with their friends and family in the cozy tavern, which may accommodate up 15 people. If the guests wish so, the hospitable proprietors may prepare for them different Rhodopean specialties - patatnik, klin, hardalo, katmi. On the second floor are the five bedrooms, furnished with one double or two single beds. There is bathroom with toilet on every floor. The villa is equipped with satellite television, internet connection and local heating system.

The terrace and the garden of Villa at the Top are a wonderful place to rest. From this spot is always revealed a splendid view of the mountain and the village. There are su beds, swings and hammock provided for relaxation in the fresh air. There is a sheltered barbecue corner where guests may prepare dishes to their preference and liking.

Orehovo is very often referred to as the Rhodopean Veliko Tarnovo. It is located in the most beautiful ridge of the Rhodope mountain range - the Chernatitsa ridge, close to Asenovgrad, Chepelare, Pamporovo, Smolyan and Plovdiv. The village is a real paradise for fans of mountain tourism in any time of the year. It is the starting point for trekking to the nearby mountain huts: Persenk, Kabata, Skalni mostove, Chudnite mostove, Smolyanskit ezera, as well as to Pamporovo and the village of Izgrev. There are a total of 9 marked routes, which start from Orehovo. There is also a Trans-Rhodopean eco-route, which lasts for 14 days and connects the nearby village of Hvoyna with the town of Stravroupoli in Greece. Some of the local natural attractions include the waterfalls in the Skakaloto and Duplevo localities, the rock formation Kosten kamak, Vaklite dupki, etc. Nearby are the famous Chudnite mostove, the old Roman road and peak Persenk (2091 m).
